A Weekend to Remember

September 2nd-3rd, 2017

Founded by Jay-Z, Budweiser’s Made In America Festival was held this past labor day weekend. Powerhouse headliners such as J.Cole, Solange, and Philly’s own Meek Mill hit the stage with rap legend Jay-Z to perform. Mr. Carter lead us to victory by performing his Certified Platinum album 4:44. In doing this, he let the beat drop to his first single “Bam”, where he was joined with respected reggae artist Damian Marley. Then he talked financial freedom with “The OJ Story.” You’d think the night was over until Jay-Z, along with the massive crowd, began serenading his wife Beyoncé in Birthday love.

The after party was on the corner of 39th & Chestnut at William Street Common where a long but quick line awaited. The 40oz Bounce Philly, produced by 40oz NYC and RECPhilly was a night to remember. How can you beat a cover charge of only $15.00? The crowd turnout was incrediblepartially a no-brainer, considering the Open Bar of DUSSE that was generously given to those who attended.
The ladies were vibe’d out to Bodak Yellow. Oh, and the fellas were too.  I can’t forget to mention the celebrity pop-up appearances by Mack Wilds and Philly native Jahlil Beats, just to name a few. Come enjoy a night with us next time. Where the turn-up never ends until 2 in the morning.
